Programs:

June 5, 2017 - This was the Club's monthly Board Meeting. Minutes of this meeting were prepared and placed on the Club's blog for all members to review and comment. A motion was made, seconded and approved, to accept the Meeting Minutes as presented.

June 17, 2017 - This meeting was the Club's annual installation of Officers for the new Lion year. We were honored to have District Governor, Bob Suseata, conduct the installation of new officers this year. The new Officers installed are:
                                               President - Lion Joey Amaro
                                               Vice President - Lion Sandra Watts
                                               Treasurer - Lion James Krumwiede
                                               Secretary - Lion Beverly Sugerman
                                               Tail Twister - Lion Richard Sugerman

Thank You Governor Bob. The Club now has new Officers and the beginning of a new Lions year. May the new year and new Officers bring new and great success to the Upland Host Lions Club.

Other Items Worthy Of Mention:

On June 17th Upland Host Lions participated in the Upland "Hops For Pops 5K Run" 1st annual fundraiser. All participants in the 5K Run received a complementary Pancake Breakfast. We were told there were 740 participants (Therefore, 740 pancake breakfasts). Upland Host Lions volunteered to handle the pancake breakfast. The volunteers from Upland Host were: President Lion Jim K, and Lions Madeleine, Arlene, Sandy, Beverly S., Terri, Jim T., Joey, Richard, Ken M., and Ken B. Thank you one and all.

Next Meeting:

The Club's next meeting will be the Club's monthly Board meeting for July, 2017. This meeting will be on July 10th at the Landacena Community Center at 6:30 PM. The Landacena Community Center is located at 1325 San Bernardino Road in Upland.
